eco apparel inspired by real adventures

Every pair of our leggings has a story behind it; a story of getting lost in the woods, of venturing into the unknown, of wandering along the beach with sand in our toes, of waiting for the sun to rise and most of all of spending time with those we care about the most.  These are the stories of our adventures.

The Young Buck

Some adventures are planned. Others are not.

The day after the Carlton Complex Fire tore through the small town of Pateros, we drove North to check on our family's property. Past downed fire lines, smoldering buildings, and open flames, we found a safe but smoky pear orchard and stayed just long enough to see the sheriff coming along to give evacuation orders.

We escaped to safety and within minutes were high up on the Waterville Plateau, blanketed in a bright red cloud and below the haze we found this young buck alone in a field. He stared into our eyes and never left our gaze until we drove away.

Don't worry-this deer was well out of the way of harm high up on the plateau.  A moment of safety and beauty juxtaposed against the destruction in the river valley below.
