Blanca So Blue

It was our first adventure together, Colchuck and UpsideDownMama aka Leah and Holly.  A little under 4 mile hike with over 3,000 feet gained made for descent amount of time to get to know somebody.  We were drawn together from the start.

Two moms, obsessed with adventure, physical activity and creativity.  Going for a long hike with someone is the best way to get to know them; especially when elements like a lighting and thunder storm roll your way.

By the time we reached the topped and rounded the corner to the prettiest colored lake I’ve ever laid my eyes on, we were fast friends with ideas churning and excitement building.  We spent the day adventuring around the lake and doing Yoga and taking photos of course.

We laughed, talked and dared each other to get in the cold glacier water.  We did, making our way to the top of a log sticking out of the water.  Perching for a half hour hip to hip, entranced by the beauty surrounding us…the deal was sealed.  We were on a bigger adventure than this hike.  We were bound together with a destiny, a purpose:  to inspire the world, to inspire mothers, women and people in general, to live, adventure and love this beautiful world.

Together, perched on the tip of this log sitting in Blanca so Blue, we didn’t need to say a word to know that our adventures were only just beginning.
